“Asphalt Icon” Eva Morris began her writing career as an erotica author with four stories for Penthouse Magazine, who proclaimed her their “Writer of the 90’s”.

She began her career by self-publishing and marketing three short story compilations (‘Bad Girls Bedtime Stories’, ‘Drivers Daily Log’ and ‘Why It Is More Important to Have A CB Radio than a Basset Hound on a RoadTrip From the Standpoint of a Female Four-Wheeler’) before esteemed Editor Susie Bright chose one of the Penthouse stories for inclusion in the ‘Best American Erotica’ series published by Simon & Schuster. Her ‘Best American Erotica 2000’ presentation at New York University in front of 450 industry professionals led to her fifth book, RoadBabe!, being first published by publishing luminary Barney Rosset’s Blue Moon Books imprint in 2000.

Some of her erotic adventures have also appeared in the debut adult comic strip ‘Diary of a RoadBabe (Penthouse Comix), and she once survived being pornographic legend Al Goldstein’s guest on his televised ‘Midnite Blue’ show. In 2004, erotica author Eva Morris was called out of the blue and hired by literary legend Hunter S. Thompson to interview him in Aspen; ‘Ode to Hunter S. Thompson’ would be his last interview.

Eva has maintained a Sex and Adventure newsletter, ‘Blonde Updates from the Open Road,’ which has now become her seventh book and first full-length novel, ‘Adventures of RoadBabe.’ This book has attracted movie interest; she is currently working on a script.

Eva enjoys working with talented authors of all genres and is the long-time organizer and promoter of ChickLit and BestLit Review literary events. Her company, Tiger Publishing Co., publishes the annual ‘ BestLit Review’ ‘Best Ten’ author compilations.
